As Executive Director of Cable in the Classroom,
I hired Lynn and Kim to help us with every
aspect of a complex new awards project.
Although the cable industry sponsors dozens
of awards programs, the nature and structure
of this one was completely new for the
industry. We needed to sort out messaging;
introduce the industry to something completely
new; get buy-in from inside and outside
the system; in short, think all the communications
through from scratch, and from an uphill
position! Moreover, changes in the industry
leadership made for changes along the way
in available resources and interest.
The program continues on a successful path,
largely due to the ingenuity, adaptability,
and steadfastness of Lynn and Kim. Their
ability to quickly grasp essential elements
and goals is impressive. Their original
ideas and concepts were exciting, fresh,

"The Met: Live in HD" is the company’s groundbreaking series of operas transmitted live, in high-definition, to movie theaters, colleges and universities, and arts institutions around the world and is one of the most influential audience development tools initiated by the Met in the last few years. Not only does the series promote the Met's artistic programs to a much wider audience, but it increases the appeal and reach of opera in the U.S. and around the world.
McReynolds Elek was hired to help launch the series in more than 100 U.S. locations. Press attention in local markets was crucial to the future success of the series (the Met just announced its third consecutive season).
